Attendees are allegedly coerced into degrading and extreme sexual acts, sometimes involving humiliation and abuse, all to satisfy the twisted desires of the ultra-wealthy elite.
Maria had reportedly been invited to one such party by two men claiming to be talent scouts for a modeling agency. She had no reason to suspect that her dream opportunity would spiral into a nightmare.
Radha Stirling, CEO of Detained in Dubai, has worked with numerous victims who have found themselves trapped in similar situations. “These young women believe they are being flown out for legitimate work or entertainment gigs, only to realize too late that they are expected to perform in ways they never agreed to,” she explained.
Though the UAE has recently relaxed laws around sex outside of marriage, Stirling warns that these changes have emboldened certain individuals to exploit women even more. “They can still face serious consequences, especially if married men are involved. The danger is very real.”
Maria’s mother, Anna, rushed from Norway to Dubai as soon as she heard of her daughter’s condition. “She is receiving medical care, and we are hoping for the best,” Anna stated. But Maria remains unable to speak, and the extent of her trauma is still unknown.
Dubai police released a statement suggesting that Maria had fallen from a construction site, a claim her family has strongly refuted. Russian media outlets reported that she had been in a state of extreme distress before disappearing, making the official explanation even more questionable.
