In a tragic incident that has shocked the online community, Brazilian content creator and adult entertainer Anna Beatriz Pereira Alves, widely recognized by her screen name Anna Polly, passed away under disturbing circumstances on January 23 in Nova Iguaçu, Rio de Janeiro.
The 27-year-old reportedly fell from the balcony of a hotel where she was in the middle of filming a scene involving two men. Authorities found her lifeless body in the courtyard of the aparthotel, prompting the launch of an official investigation.
According to reports, the two individuals who were present during the shoot have provided conflicting testimonies about the moments leading up to Anna’s fall. Both men were questioned and subsequently released by the police as investigations continue.
Detectives from the Baixada Fluminense Homicide Division are reviewing hotel security footage and have interviewed staff members. They are also expected to examine Anna’s phone for further clues.
A representative from the homicide unit stated: “We are carrying out a detailed inquiry to establish the exact events. All scenarios are being considered—from a tragic accident to potential foul play.”
An autopsy has been commissioned to establish the precise cause of death.
Anna’s boyfriend, Pedro Henrique, who was not involved in the production, has spoken publicly, expressing his heartbreak and trust in the legal process. “The police are handling everything. If someone is responsible, they will be held accountable,” he said.
In a moving tribute posted online, he wrote: “Living without you is unbearable. Each hour that passes, the emptiness only deepens.”
Friends of Anna have also spoken out, remembering her as an ambitious woman full of dreams. One friend said: “She had so many goals, especially around building her online presence. She was always excited about what was coming next. This news has devastated everyone who knew her.”
