Fans Rally for Kurt Russell Amid Concerning Health Battle

Prayers are being called for beloved actor Kurt Russell after troubling news about his health surfaced.

Kurt Vogel Russell, known for his long and successful career in Hollywood, first appeared on screen at just twelve years old in a popular western series. His powerful performance in Mike Nichols’ Silkwood even earned him a Golden Globe nomination in 1983 for Best Supporting Actor.

Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, Kurt comes from a family of artists — his father, Bing Russell, was a performer himself, and his mother, Louise Julia Russell, was a professional ballerina.

Recent reports from The Globe reveal that the 65-year-old Hateful Eight star is battling a serious flesh-eating disease. Sources say Russell has developed painful ulcers beneath his lower lip, a symptom reportedly linked to Peutz-Jeghers Syndrome (PJS), a rare condition that carries a high risk of leading to colon cancer.

According to medical sources cited by Net, individuals diagnosed with PJS face a lifetime cancer risk as high as 93%. Dr. Stuart Fischer, who is not directly involved in Russell’s care, explained that the ulcers may be “precancerous lesions” which can become extremely dangerous if not addressed quickly and effectively.

Fans and well-wishers are sending support and strength to the actor as he faces this challenging time.
