Elon Musk at Center of Paternity Storm as Ashley St Clair Reveals New Baby

Elon Musk, widely known for pushing the boundaries of technology through companies like Tesla, SpaceX, and Neuralink, now finds himself in the headlines for more personal reasons. The billionaire entrepreneur, originally from Pretoria, South Africa, and known for his bold visions of the future, is facing renewed scrutiny—not for a business deal, but for fatherhood.

Ashley St Clair, a public figure in her own right, has come forward to reveal that she gave birth to Musk’s child five months ago. In a public statement, St Clair said, “Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father. I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days, it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause.”

She emphasized her intention to raise the child in a peaceful and private environment, appealing directly to the media to back off from invasive reporting.

Musk’s public response was brief and ambiguous. He reposted a tweet referencing the news with a single word: “Whoa.” The tweet was part of a conversation where a user remarked on Musk’s history of relationships and parenting, to which St Clair had replied, “Well he actually has 7 kids & goes through women pretty fast.”

St Clair’s representative, Brian Glicklich, later added more context, confirming that the two had been quietly working on a parenting plan. He expressed frustration that repeated interference by tabloid journalists had disrupted their efforts to handle the situation privately.

“We are waiting for Elon to publicly acknowledge his parental role with Ashley, to end unwarranted speculation,” the statement continued. “Ashley trusts that Elon intends to finish their agreement quickly, in the best interests of the wellbeing and security of the child they share.”

According to St Clair, their relationship began romantically in May 2023, and the two were intimate again in early 2024. Their child was born in September 2024. Musk reportedly did not attend the birth but has seen the baby on three occasions since.

As the public watches closely, this unfolding situation reveals the complicated balance between private family matters and public life—especially when global fame is involved. Whether Musk chooses to speak further remains to be seen, but for now, both parties seem focused on reaching a resolution that prioritizes their child’s wellbeing.
