A Century of Strength: WWII Hero’s Viral Plea to President Trump for His 104th Birthday

As his 104th birthday approaches, Denver Moore, a spirited World War II veteran from Canal Fulton, Ohio, is proving that age is no barrier to making waves—and maybe even inspiring a former president to stop by for cake.

Moore isn’t planning an ordinary birthday. His heart is set on one particular guest of honor: former President Donald Trump. In a recent conversation with Fox News Digital, Moore didn’t hesitate when asked about his favorite president. “Trump, hands down,” he said with a grin. “Biden was the worst.”

A friend of Moore’s family posted a heartfelt video on TikTok that quickly captured hearts across the globe. In the short clip, Moore, wearing a calm but proud expression, addresses Trump directly:

“President Trump… I’ll be turning 104 this May. I’d be honored if you joined me for the celebration here in Canal Fulton. I voted for you before, and I hope to again.”

The response was overwhelming. Within ten days, the video racked up more than 700,000 views. Since then, Moore has received birthday cards, warm messages, and tokens of appreciation from every corner of the U.S.—and even from as far as Africa.

A Journey Rooted in Duty and Devotion

Born in the rolling farmlands of Noble County, Ohio, Moore’s early years were shaped by hard work and simplicity. When the world called, he answered, serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps for over three years during WWII. After his service, he spent two decades as a dedicated postal worker, delivering more than just mail—he delivered consistency and care.

Moore also built a life anchored in love. He was married for 75 years to Thelma Lee, his sweetheart who passed away in 2022 at the age of 95. Together, they raised three children and shared a lifetime of memories rooted in commitment and resilience.

Even today, Moore remains mentally sharp and physically engaged. He lives at Danbury Senior Living in Massillon, just south of Cleveland. There, he delights residents and staff with little quirks—like flawlessly reciting the alphabet backward, a party trick he’s held onto for over 80 years.

“I learned it decades ago,” he chuckled. “Still got it.”

Wisdom From a Century Lived

What’s the secret to 104 years of life? For Moore, the answer is simple: Keep moving.

“I was always doing something,” he said. “I delivered mail on foot for 20 years. Grew up working the land. If we didn’t have something, we made it. That’s how I stayed strong.”

And for those seeking advice on love, Moore adds one more gem:
“Marry the right woman—and never let go.”

Kelli Beckler, executive director at Danbury, said the outpouring of love since Moore’s video went viral has been touching. “People from across the country have been sending him cards and notes of support. The love he’s received has been incredible.”

A Birthday to Remember

It’s still uncertain whether President Trump will make the journey to Canal Fulton for Moore’s birthday. But in many ways, the mission has already been accomplished. Moore’s message has touched hearts, sparked conversations, and reminded America what enduring patriotism looks like.

As May 15 approaches, this remarkable man—whose life spans wars, revolutions, moon landings, and TikTok trends—is proving that a single voice, filled with honesty and heart, can echo across the world.

And maybe, just maybe, it’ll echo all the way to Mar-a-Lago.
